Lightworks for Well Being” evolved from Elizabeth and Anne’s passionate belief that they could make a difference. Their vision grew from a desire to help people become the best that they can be: emotionally secure, mentally mature and spiritually grounded so that they can make a difference in the world. Today they offer coaching, counseling, meditation classes, workshops, retreats, and women’s wisdom circles.

The spiral represents our own spiral of development as human beings. As we grow emotionally, intellectually and spiritually, our energy expands and so does our ability to attract well-being into our life. Feathers are associated with reflection of new changes and new leaps of consciousness about to unfold. The color yellow represents the light that is within each of us that fuels our growth and our passions. The color blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, faith, and trust. Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body and is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding.

Elizabeth Skronski

Even as a little girl, I knew that I wanted to help people. Today, as certified developmental coach, and a certified meditation facilitator, with over 10 years of experience, I guide my clients in gaining greater clarity on what’s truly important to them. My clients value my ability to get to the heart of the matter in a compassionate yet challenging way. My passion for leadership, both at the organizational and personal level, helps and supports my clients in achieving personal and professional goals with greater purpose, meaning, happiness and less stress.

I use various methodologies, integrating principles of mindfulness, to create the self-awareness necessary to remove blockages and move forward.

My story is much the same as many of yours. I spent close to twenty years in an industry that demonstrated very little loyalty to employees. When I became President, I thought I had reached the pinnacle of recognition and success, only to realize that this achievement was very superficial and not fulfilling my sense of being.

While an executive, I experienced many of the challenges that many people face: work and family pressure and balancing the two, motivating employees while continuing to develop herself as a leader, meeting the company’s expectations, finding meaning in my career and, the need and longing to have someone objective as a sounding board, where she could be herself without feeling judged.

After taking stock of how I felt, I resigned and began a journey of soul searching to find the answer to the elusive question: Now what …?

Today, my work is a reflection of my passion to help and support people in their own development to be truly happy and fulfilled.

I hold a B.A. in clinical psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and besides being certified in developmental coaching and meditation, I am also certified in Transformative Mindfulness, the Five Tibetan Yogas, Laughter Yoga and I am a facilitator of the 16 Guidelines, a framework on living a meaningful life. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation and a member of the coaching faculty of the Secretan Centre. Being bilingual in English and French allows me to offer sessions in both languages.

Anne Bourke

Anne is a skilled psychotherapist, with over 25 years in private practice. She is committed to support, guide and empower individuals, couples and families in the search for constructive and creative solutions to life’s challenges in personal, social and workplace relationships.

Anne’s clinical training in Adlerian therapy is the foundation of her holistic approach, integrating principles of mind, body and spirit to encourage and inspire insightful awareness and positive change. Using other components such as, cognitive-behavioural approaches, Anne guides clients from their errors in thinking to changes that create more effective and realistic thought processes. Also, Anne uses EMDR and EFT in healing trauma and changing mistaken core beliefs. Psychodynamic methods are used to build awareness, identify options and encourage well-being. As well as psychotherapy, Anne believes that brief counseling is an efficient, goal directed process to deal with a specific issue, such as: a parenting situation, a workplace conflict or a communication skill.

As an educator, Anne spent many years as a guidance counsellor and a teacher of adolescents, leading group evenings for parents and counseling parents and their teens. In the community Anne presented at conferences for parents, couples and individuals.

At present, she facilitates workshops and seminars on a variety of topics: management of anger, stress, self-esteem and balancing lifestyle. Anne enjoys the opportunity to speak in the community.

As well, Anne is a Reiki master and provides treatments and classes for clients to improve their energy and health.

As a spiritual teacher and meditation leader, Anne guides individuals and groups in the process of personal transformation. Anne nurtures your growth in awareness, understanding, clarity and encourages choices that expand and enhance your spiritual practices.

Anne enjoys working with clients who want to find enrichment in aspects of their lives and with those clients who are struggling with serious and demoralizing difficulties. Working with doctors and alternate therapies, she welcomes a team approach to promote your healing and to experience a healthy well-being.

Anne uses Skype and the telephone for out of town clients and sends homework assignments and documents by email to enhance the growth process.

Nathalie LeFave – Associate

Nathalie, a former long distance runner was introduced to yoga 7 years ago and has since fallen in love with the challenge and personal truth she finds in her yoga practice. Yoga has definitely taught her to embrace life with more awareness and be more connected on a spiritual level. Nowadays, she is constantly learning how to balance her life with her 2 little boys through yoga. Yoga has brought Peace, Love, Sunshine and Fluidity in her life despite the daily challenges.

She has completed her 200 hour teacher training with Ana Forrest, the creator of Forrest Yoga in the United States in July 2007.The Forrest Yoga Teacher training started the process of awakening her soul and helps her connect with her spirit. It taught her how to embrace life with an open heart. It gave her tremendous strength and energy during her 2 healthy pregnancies and natural births. She looks forward to supporting and guiding her students through the same process of connecting to their soul and finding and living their personal truths. Nathalie’s classes are slowly to moderately paced. Everyone will be challenged in a safe and nurturing environment. Each class is designed to help you peel away layers of tension and habitual behaviour that stiffen your mind and body. You will play with the edges of your breath and body, make new discoveries about yourself, and leave class feeling completely cleansed and rejuvenated!

Nathalie has also completed her “Pre and Post Natal Yoga” teacher training with Michelle Cormack, Kids Yoga Teacher training with Young Yoga Masters and Yoga for Runners with Christine Felstead. She also has her Fitness instructor, Personal Trainer, Mind/Body, Nutrition and Wellness and Pre and Post Natal Certifications with Can-Fit Pro.

Her mission is to introduce as many people to yoga and awaken her students to their true selves to find their healing path in life! She draws her daily strength from her yoga practice to live a harmonious life. Yoga helps her become a better person, mother, wife, teacher and friend!
